Research
My research interests focus on integrated control of insect and mite pests in vegetable crops and orchards. Specifically, my group focuses on the use of predatory insects and mites as biological control agents, the evaluation of pesticides side-effects on non-target arthropods, the role of alternative food sources as a tool to enhance biological control, the risk assessment of exotic biological control agents and insect-plant interactions.
